การใช้ too และ either ในความหมายที่ว่า "เหมือนกัน"

เราใช้ too หลังคำกริยาบอกเล่า

แต่ เราจะใช้ either หลังคำกริยาปฏิเสธ

ตัวอย่าง

A: I’m happy.

B: I’m happy too.

A: I enjoyed the film.

B: I enjoyed it too.

A: Mary is a doctor.

B: Her husband is a doctor too.

A: I’m not happy

B: I’m not happy either. (ไม่ใช่ "I’m not … too.")

A : I can’t cook.

B: I can’t either. (ไม่ใช่ "I can’t too")

A: Bill doesn’t watch TV.

B: He doesn’t read newspaper either.
