สำหรับผู้ที่ศึกษาภาษาอังกฤษ พอจะพูดหรือเขียน
คงเจอปัญหาลืมกัน ไม่มากก็น้อย
เช่น การใช้ Collocation หรือศัทพ์ ที่ไม่ค่อยได้ใช้
คำศัพท์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกัน: Orphan กำพร้า -> foster การรับมาเลี้ยงดูอุปถัมภ์
Context การพบเห็นศัพท์นั้นๆ
ที่มาของศัพท์: Breakfast -> Break หยุด + fast การอดอาหาร
คำแปลในภาษาท้องถิ่น hurry up -> จังวา
ถ้ามีวิธีการจดบันทึก ศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ ใน computer
ที่ง่าย, รองรับสืบค้นได้, นำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ได้ ก็น่าจะดี
วันนี้มีทางเลือกในการจดบันทึกมาแนะนำกันครับ
วิธีการอย่างย่อก็คือ ด้วยจดบันทึกด้วย notepad
แล้วก็สืบค้นด้วย (หรือแสดงผลผ่าน)โปรแกรม dictionary ที่แจกฟรี เช่น GoldenDict ครับ
เช่น เราใส่คำว่า "
yahoo" แล้วก็ note ว่า "
อ่านว่า ยาฮู้ (ไม่ใช่ อย่าอู้...)"
ตัวอย่างการแสดงผลก็จะเป็นดังนี้

เริ่มต้น สร้างไฟล์ชื่อ MyDictionary.dsl ที่มีข้อมูลดังนี้

อ่านว่า ยาฮู้ (ไม่ใช่ อย่าอู้...)
จุดสังเกตุ

ในไฟล์ข้อมูล dsl นั้น ข้อมูลที่เขียน มีรูปแบบเฉพาะที่ต้องเขียนให้ถูกต้อง
เช่น สามบรรทัดแรกต้องเป็น #NAME, #INDEX ...
,เขียนคำที่เป็น keyword (ที่จะใช้ในตอน search) ที่ต้นบรรทัด (กรณีนี้คือคำว่า hello และ yahoo)
,ส่วนตัวอย่างประโยค หรือ comment ต้องมีการย่อหน้าด้วยช่องว่างหรือแท็บ 1 ตัวอักขระ เป็นต้น)
หลังจากนั้นก็ไป download แล้วก็ติดตั้งโปรแกรม GoldenDict ครับ

เราจะใช้โปรแกรมนี้ในการแสดงผล ข้อมูล dsl ของเราครับ
หลังจากเปิดโปรแกรม, เข้าไป config ให้กับ GoldenDict ว่าไฟล์ dictionary ของเราอยู่ที่ไหน
ผ่านทางเมนู Edit -> Dictionaries...
แล้วก็ทดลอง search คำว่า hello หรือ yahoo เลย
ถ้าอยากได้ ไฟล์ข้อมูล Dictionary เช่น Oxford, Longman

ถ้าอยากให้คำอธิบายของเรา มีการกำหนดสี หรือลักษณะอักษรตัวหนา ตัวเอียง

[p],[/p] - labels (clicking a label displays its full text)
[ref],[/ref]- hyperlink to a card in the same dictionary (or <<, >>)
[sub][/sub] - subscript
[sup][/sup] - superscript
['],[/'] - a stressed vowel in a word.

ในตอนบันทึก ให้เลือกชนิดของไฟล์เป็น UTF-8 ด้วย
